Arts Teacher - Music and Visual Arts (part-time)

Perth Montessori is seeking an enthusiastic Music and Visual Arts teacher (0.2 - 0.4) to enrich our team starting Term 2 (15 April 2024).

The ideal candidate will have a love of sharing the arts with students from early childhood to adolescence in a multi-age, Montessori learning environment. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive music and visual arts education to students across various grade levels (Pre-Kindy to Year 9). This role requires a creative educator who is not only passionate about fostering a love for the arts among students, but who is versatile, courageous and flexible. The time fraction may be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Prerequisites:

 

  • Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed., Dip.Ed., MTech etc.,) with specialisation in at least one of music or visual arts.
  • Ability and willingness to teach in both disciplines.
  • TRBWA registration (or ability to obtain this)
  • Proven experience as a music and/or visual arts teacher, with a strong portfolio of work.

School Enrolment Registrar (part-time)

Perth Montessori seeks a professional and passionate Enrolments Registrar to oversee the admissions and enrolments process from first contact to enrolment. This vital role involves managing enrolment inquiries, coordinating school tours, and maintaining a welcoming and professional communication line with prospective, current, and alumni families. Confidentiality and high-quality service are keystones of this position.

You will work as part of a supportive and collaborative administration team. Your key responsibilities are:

  • To serve as the primary point of contact for enrolment inquiries.
  • Manage enrolment systems and maintain accurate student data.
  • Manage all communications, bookings and organisational tasks related to tours and admissions
  • Produce regular enrolment reports and maintain compliance with educational standards.
  • Coordinate tours, school open days, and orientation programs.

School Psychologist (part-time)

This role, reporting to the Principal and based on a 0.2 FTE schedule (negotiable), offers the opportunity to significantly impact the educational and personal well-being of our students. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Psychology with full AHPRA registration. You will embody a passion for child and adolescent welfare, backed by a solid understanding of mental health, educational best practices, and Montessori principles.

Your key responsibilities are assisting students, teachers, and parents to solve a wide range of educational and psychological problems. The primary goals are to enhance educational outcomes, promote social and emotional growth of students and provide specific support for at-risk students.
